Rainbow Land’s Play-school provides pre-kindergarten education for children between 2 to 3 years old. We understand that this age range is the ideal time for a child’s brain to absorb knowledge and skills, so we strive to provide the best learning environment at this age.

Rainbow Land Preschool offers high quality education with emphasis on overall development of your child. Our curriculum is designed to ensure that your kid develops necessary skills such as socialization, cognitive development, creativity and other life skills. We also have a well-equipped play area where kids can explore and learn through play. Moreover, we assign each child a caretaker who will be dedicated to your child’s needs and provide best possible care.

As a parent of a kindergartener, you want to provide fun and engaging activities for your child. This will help to ensure that the concepts of numbers, shapes, and letters stick in your child’s mind.
Here are a few creative activities you can do with your kindergartener:

  • Use manipulatives: Manipulatives such as LEGO blocks, alphabet blocks, pattern blocks, etc., can help your kindergartener learn the concepts of numbers, shapes, and letters. Let them build structures and try to recreate shapes they have seen in the environment, like squares and triangles.

  • Make letters out of play-doh: Have your child roll a ball of play-doh and then form the ball into different shapes of letters. Show them pictures of other notes and have them practice tracing with their finger and saying the letter’s name.

  • Sing songs and nursery rhymes: Singing them with your child is a great way to familiarise them with letters and sounds. You can also write down a word and have your kindergartener identify the first letter.

  • Play board games: Board games can help reinforce various concepts. Choose board games that focus on colours, numbers, and shapes. Or even simpler, have your child roll a die and count out a certain number of spots.

These activities will be fun for your child and help keep them engaged in learning. In addition, by mixing up the exercises, you will help to ensure that the essential concepts stick.
